IKEA urges all customers who have purchased outdoor LED lamps and lighting chains from the LEDLJUS, SOMMARLÅNKE, STRÅLA and SVARTRÅ ranges to contact IKEA for a full refund.

IKEA products are risk assessed and thoroughly tested to make sure that they can withstand the tough test of everyday life at home, and that they comply with applicable requirements and regulation on all markets where IKEA operates.

Despite this, It has been identified that the plug of these products may not meet a safety requirement for limiting water ingress, which could pose a risk of electric shock.

  • SOMMARLÅNKE LED floor lamp 100 cm beige outdoor
  • SOMMARLÅNKE LED lighting chain outdoor multi, 12 bulbs
  • STRÅLA LED flashing lighting chain outdoor gold, 24 star lights
  • STRÅLA LED lighting curtain outdoor star, 48 lights
  • SVARTRÅ LED lighting chain black outdoor, 12 lights

The affected products can be identified by the LED driver name (ICPSH24-2-IL-1), date code (2138, 2141, 2148, 2209, 2215, 2224, 2231, 2236, 2320, 2326, 2332, 2336, 2347, 2409, 2413, 2421, 2423, 2424, 2426, 2434, 2437 and plug name (SYK-02F).

If you have this item at home, we ask that you return it to any IKEA store, where you will receive a full refund, without needing to present proof of purchase.
