Great addition to the homeValuedI love sitting on it, it’s super comfy and sturdy, but I can’t help but wonder how long it will last before it turns mouldy because it’s a natural material. I keep staring closely at it to see if there is any mould already, so far so good. Before that happens, they’re so pretty around the home. I keep two in the living room and one in the guest bedroom. They’re great for additional sitting space around the house especially when we have many guests over. We also like to sit on them when we don’t want to sit on the couch but the floor is cold. They instantly elevate the ambiance of the whole space. (I’m not giving full stars for value for money yet because if it turns mouldy, I’ll have to throw it away, then it would be an incredible waste of money as it’s not cheap. )5

What is banana fibre?

The strong banana fibre is a by-product of banana growing. The plant only bears fruit once, and instead of letting the trunk go to waste, the outer fibres can be dried and then woven and braided into things like baskets, table mats and furniture. By using fibres from different banana species we get a natural colour variation – and a more vibrant expression.
