"I think of the FORMIDABEL series as a family. Everyone in the family is independent and has their own personality, yet they belong together. When I designed the series I wanted to find a calm look, but when you see them up close, you’ll find unexpected and surprising details. I was inspired by things like dishes that I’ve seen in second-hand stores. The idea is that all the shapes and colours can be combined in many different ways to encourage creative table settings."
