Please remember to bring the width, length and height (floor to ceiling) measurements of your kitchen when you visit.
Your reservation will be cancelled if you fail to show up within 30 minutes after your reserved time.

Using the kitchen measurement/planning service

  • Visit an IKEA store near you to purchase the kitchen measurement/planning service.
  • Once you have purchased the kitchen measurement/planning service, a planner from an official IKEA partner will visit your home to provide the service,
    which will take approximately 2 hours.
  • Service charge will be fully refunded as IKEA Returns card once the customer completes the purchase of their kitchen.

Thank you for shopping at IKEA and choosing our Individual Planning Service.

IKEA Individual Kitchen Planning Service provides an inspection and drawing service for successful kitchen cabinet installation service consequently. A confirmed drawing that is secured from any installation issue and an IKEA product list for the drawing will be provided after one and half hours service.

A carefully selected Independent Service Provider will perform your Individual Kitchen Planning Service. In order to ensure that your Individual Kitchen Planning Service appointment is successful, your participation is needed.

Please ensure that:
You are present at the Kitchen Measurement Individual Kitchen Planning Service appointment at the agreed upon day and at the given time window. Our Independent Service Provider will not be able to complete the Individual Kitchen Planning Service appointment without your personal participation.
If you choose custom-made worktop (IKEA PERSONLIG) for your worktop solution, you need to purchase IKEA METOD kitchen system and IKEA sinks selections, and also need to purchase the IKEA kitchen installation service, so that the all installation service quality can be secured.
Individual Kitchen Planning Service includes:
Within 24 hours if scheduling your Individual Kitchen Planning Service, you will be contacted by our Service Provider to confirm the appointment, your address, and help you prepare for the visit. A qualified kitchen planner will visit you in your home for up to 24 hours to give you a detailed layout of your kitchen, including cabinets, counter tops, and appliances.
Collecting measured information and verifying
• Room dimension (height, length, width)
• Dimension and position of windows and doors
• Position of external walls
• Width of all windows (including the sill) and their height above the floor
• Position of sloping ceilings
• Position of electric, water and gas connections and other fixtures e.g. Pipes, radiators etc.
• Confirm that all room corners are square
• Confirm that all included walls are plumb
• All required dimensions will be entered into the IKEA Home Planner
Consultation with a qualified Kitchen Planner
Below document will be provided after consultation with planner:
• Detailed Kitchen Plan and 3D view drawing of the existing space created on the IKEA Home Planner.
• Price Quote for IKEA Kitchen products
• Price Quote for the dismantling and removal of the old Kitchen
• Price Quote for installation of new Kitchen
At the completion of the kitchen planning session:
Please sign the Service report in the presence of the kitchen planning service provider’s employee to indicate your planning service was completed to your satisfaction.
After kitchen installation service completed, you can refund kitchen planning service fee. Please bring your receipt and visit the store within 30 days from installation date.
IKEA kitchen planning service provides a verified kitchen drawing that is secured for kitchen installation service afterward. Therefore, any change of this drawing will not secure a successful kitchen installation service at the end. There is a possibility that not all products are available all the time at IKEA store. It may cause longer lead time than expected.
How do I make a change to my planning service date?
If you would like to change your service date, you must contact IKEA Call Center (1670-4532) as soon as possible. Your preferable date would not be always possible due to other customer’s reservation. In order to avoid any additional fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12pm one day prior to the expected planning service date. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the service fee will be charged to change your planning service date.
In case of quartz custom-made worktop, 50% of the service fee will be charged when the condition cannot be met.
How do I cancel my kitchen planning service?
If you would like to cancel your service, you must contact IKEA Call Center (1670-4532) as soon as possible. In order to avoid any additional fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12 pm one day prior to the expected planning service date. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the service fee will be charged.
In case of quartz custom-made worktop, 50% of the service fee will be charged when the condition cannot be met.
Unless you purchase IKEA kitchen installation service, Kitchen planning service is not refundable.
If you are not at home at the promised date & time?
The Service Provider will leave a note confirming that they attempted to complete the appointment. They will not return, they will make no attempt to return to complete the service. You must return to the store to schedule & pay for another Kitchen Measurement Service.

IKEA Kitchen Measurement Service Terms & Conditions

Thank you for shopping at IKEA and choosing our Kitchen Measurement Service. IKEA Kitchen Measurement Service provides a measurement service for kitchen cabinet or custom-made worktop that will secure successful cabinet or worktop installation service consequently. The service will take less than 30 minutes.

A carefully selected Independent Service Provider will perform your Kitchen Measurement Service. In order to ensure that your Kitchen Measurement Service session is successful, your participation is needed.

Please ensure that:
Either you or your representative that is 18 years of age or older are present at the Kitchen Measurement appointment at the agreed upon day and at the given time window. Our Independent Service Provider will not be able to complete the Kitchen Measurement Service without your participation.
Kitchen Measurement Service includes:
• Room dimension (height, length, width)
• Dimension and position of windows and doors
• Position of external walls
• Width of all windows (including the sill) and their height above the floor
• Position of sloping ceilings
• Position of electric, water and gas connections and other fixtures e.g. Pipes, radiators etc.
• Confirm that all room corners are square
• Confirm that all included walls are plumb
• An IKEA Home Planner drawing of the floor plan and wall view of the kitchen including the above information.
• For custom-made worktop order, only the points amongst above that is related to worktop installation will be valid.
At the completion of the Kitchen Measurement Service appointment:
Please sign the Kitchen Measurement Service Report in the presence of the Kitchen Measurement Service Provider’s employee to indicate your Kitchen Measurement Service was completed to your satisfaction. Service fee is not refundable once it has been completed.
How do I make a change to my measuring service date?
If you would like to change your service date, you must contact IKEA Call Center (1670-4532) as soon as possible. Your preferable date would not be always possible due to other customer’s reservation. In order to avoid any additional fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12 pm one day prior to the expected service date. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the service fee will be charged to change your measuring service date.
In case of later notice with quartz custom-made worktop, 50% of the service fee will be charged to change your measuring service date.
How do I cancel my kitchen measuring service date?
If you would like to cancel your service, you must contact IKEA Customer Support Centre (1670-4532) as soon as possible. In order to avoid any additional fees, these changes must be communicated to IKEA by 12 pm one day prior to the expected measuring service date. If these conditions cannot be met, 30% of the service fee will not be refunded.
In case of later notice with quartz custom-made worktop, 50% of the service fee will be charged to cancel your measuring service date.
