Cancellation of sales
contract / returning goods
When all the following requirements are satisfied, customers may cancel the sales of goods contract with IKEA and return purchased goods to IKEA for 365 days from the date of purchase (if the price payment date and the delivery date of goods differ, the delivery date of goods), even if the goods do not have any defect. In other cases, customers are not able to request IKEA to cancel the sales of goods contract and return the goods or make a refund.
(1) Goods shall be designated goods (some goods, such as outlet goods, plants, order-made goods, cut-out cloth fabrics, food / beverages, cannot be returned).
(2) Goods shall be unused.
(3) Wrapping and tags of goods (wrapping paper with a barcode having the manufacturing number of goods or information on goods) are attached to the goods.
(4) Goods are not damaged or defaced.
(5) A receipt evidencing the fact of purchase of goods and date of purchase is presented.
(6) Goods are brought or sent to the storefront of the store listed in the receipt.
(7) Customers shall be “consumers” (= individuals, excluding the case where they become parties to a contract as business or for business).

・If defective goods are returned, we shall pay the shipping charge.
・If goods are returned due to the convenience of customers, customers shall pay the charge. If customers have difficulty making an arrangement for large goods, etc., request it to us when notifying it. We will make an arrangement for the same fee as shipping charge. In this case, we will return the price of goods (however, a refund is given after the arrival of goods is confirmed. If we arrange the return of goods, the amount obtained by deducting the shipping charge and handling charge from the price of goods is returned). Please note that the delivery expense and handling charge are not returned.
