Most of the items shown in the IKEA catalogue can be purchased online. To purchase a product online, just look for these buttons:

Convenient delivery
We offer delivery to almost anywhere in Canada. Delivery service is based on the delivery method and destination.

Add articles to your shopping cart and enter your postal code to see if delivery is available to your area. Note that certain restrictions may apply.

The delivery method is based on the weight/volume, size and retail value of your order. Based on the above criteria, your order will be delivered by parcel or truck to ensure that your articles arrive in premium condition.

Parcel delivery
Parcels are delivered by FedEx, from Monday to Friday during business hours (9:00am to 5:00pm). A parcel delivery can include multiple packages.

When receiving a delivery via FedEx please note that your delivery date is not guaranteed. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has left our distribution warehouse which will allow you to follow your order on the FedEx website.

Truck delivery
Truck deliveries are contracted to a third party. Availability and service windows are dependent on the delivery destination.

You can request a delivery date during Checkout which requires you to be available from 9am to 9pm.

But don’t worry! For your convenience, the delivery company will assign you a shorter time window the day before, or morning of, your delivery date.

While unforeseen events can occur, (e.g. weather conditions) IKEA will make every effort to complete your delivery within the assigned time window.

What should I do to prepare my home to receive my delivery?
Prior to delivery, please ensure your building is safely accessible and that elevators have been reserved, if required to complete the delivery. If your delivery address is a condo/townhouse complex, we would advise that you check with building administration prior to delivery to ensure there are no restrictions. If delivery cannot be completed, a new delivery fee will apply. If there are any restrictions or information we may require to complete your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible.

An adult of legal age must be present to receive the order.

What if I need to change my delivery date or missed my delivery?
To cancel or reschedule a delivery appointment, IKEA must be notified as soon as possible, with a minimum of 24 hours prior to the appointment needed in order to avoid rescheduling fees. Deliveries scheduled beyond 7 days of the date of purchase will incur storage fees. The delivery date must be within 45 days of your purchase. To reschedule a new delivery please contact 1-866-866-IKEA (4532).

Click & Collect
With the Click & Collect service, your online purchases can be ready to pick-up on a day that's convenient for you. Have access to all items available to purchase online at It's easy:

1. Buy your items online
2. Pre-select a date to collect your order
3. Pick-up your purchase at an IKEA store near you

$5 Service Fee
The flat rate fee covers the service to pick your order, and applies to all orders regardless of size. More importantly, it can help you save. Purchase as little as a single sofa or as much as an entire kitchen all for just a flat $5 service fee.
*Exception: IKEA Richmond and IKEA Coquitlam have a $10 service fee
