ÖVERALLT LIMITED COLLECTION
Designed to bring people together
Uncomplicate the dinner party and throw an informal block party? The round ÖVERALLT table and accompanying curved benches make for the perfect base. Both made out of solid eucalyptus, the bench’s soft curve and inviting design allows you to arrange several benches for new, exciting meetings; form a circle around the matching table, or why not one long, curved seat? Either way, there’s always room for more.
Like with all ÖVERALLT products, the bench and table have been inspired by different modern lifestyles in urban parts of Africa. In this case, it’s the Kenyan ritual of taking the time to eat together – no matter how busy one’s life might be.
An outdoor setting with ÖVERALLT round tables and curved benches made from solid eucalyptus wood.A grey, cone-shaped stoneware bowl made to be held in one’s hand.A transparent, colourless ÖVERALLT carafe and oil jug with irregular shapes made from glass and cork. A curved wooden bench and a cushion with a multicoloured graphic pattern, both from the ÖVERALLT collection.
Dress the bench with ÖVERALLT textiles for an even comfier seat. The graphic, bold patterns, partly inspired by the African elephant, are designed by artist and architect, Renee Rossouw, and self-confessed textile nerd, Sindiso Khumalo. Available as napkins, cushions, a quilt and bed textiles.

A yellow, turquoise and blue ÖVERALLT bag made from crisps packaging waste. An ÖVERALLT basket made from a curvy black steel frame covered with hand-crocheted black yarn ornaments in some places. An ÖVERALLT curved bench made from solid eucalyptus wood.An ÖVERALLT oil jug, jar with lid and carafe, all three made from colourless glass and cork.
Sustainably fashionable
You’d never guess it, but this shimmery ÖVERALLT tote is made out of waste production of crisps packaging. Hend and Mariam are the fierce female duo behind the idea. Together they established Reform Studio in 2012 with the mission making the most of waste in the world today.
Braiding in Dakar
World renowned artist and designer, Selly Raby Kane’s ideas for ÖVERALLT began by translating her home city, Dakar into characters, and then reinterpret those characters through braiding sculptures and objects. The results are the hand-braided baskets, available in two different sizes.
Scoot over, there’s always room for more
The slightly curved ÖVERALLT bench made out of eucalyptus is designed together with husband and wife team, Bethan Rayner and Naeem Biviji, the founders of Studio Propolis. The idea came from the Kenyan evening ritual, when friends often gather, bringing their own chairs to talk about the day and life in general.
Tableware for sharing
In the midst of work, childcare and cooking a lot, a big part of the Kenyan lifestyle is always taking the time to sit down to eat together. Designers, Bethan Rayner and Naeem Biviji kept this in mind when designing the glass jugs and carafes. Made for both hot and cold content, they’re also easy to grip and nice to look at – all boxes checked for a shared meal.
