Fun new lighting for a kid’s room
The new TROLLBO light is designed to make a kid’s bedroom an inspiring space to grow and play. It’s also sustainable in more ways than one.
Designed for a brighter future
TROLLBO is the first IKEA children’s light made from recycled PET bottles, which reduces climate impact by lowering the use of new raw materials. The light is easy to assemble from six flat-pack pieces to form the shape of a circus tent.
A pendant that changes with your child
A flag and sphere accessories can be added to decorate the cord of TROLLBO to give it even more of a circus look. The decorations can easily be removed for a more minimal look when your child gets older. “It means the light is sustainable in more ways than one,” says designer Stina Lanneskog.
Flat pack fun
TROLLBO comes in a flat-pack box that doubles as a colouring book for kids. Cut out the circus themed characters for your child to paint or colour in, then they can use their creations to decorate their room.
Putting kids in the spotlight
“I love creating for children. They both see and relate to things differently to us adults. My design for TROLLBO was inspired by old circus tents. I hope it spreads a homely, happy feeling, but most of all that your child feels, ‘this is my lamp, my very own,’” says Stina.
TROLLBO is available in-store now.
