The rarity of cloudberries makes them a delicacy, particularly years when cold weather makes them even rarer. And the painstaking picking process in rough terrain makes them expensive to buy. Historically, cloudberries were said to cure all sorts of diseases. Today, we know they don’t, but they’re still enjoyed all over Sweden. Mostly as jam with pancakes or optional meats, but also in liqueur, for an almost mystical flavour of the forest. Our own SYLT HJORTRON is organic.
