Good for guests for a couple of hours but best to get a circular cushion of a suitable diameter for use with a desk for several hours. Takes my weight (I'm an adult male). Not for stepping on. Not recommended for outdoors as concrete floor will scrape base of leg (and seat if you topple it) though this isn't an issue an indoors.5
