      Lighting the way

Inspired by the sun and the planets, the two SAMMANLÄNKAD LED solar-powered lamps are both convenient and captivating. Catch the sunlight with the solar panels during the day, release it at night and let it light the way.

It’s dusk. A person sits in the opening of a van reading a book in the light of a SAMMANLÄNKAD LED solar-powered table lamp.

        Solar power in your pocket

The portable SAMMANLÄNKAD LED solar-powered lighting is built for adventures, both indoors and outdoors. Charge it with the sun and bring it with you into the woods, out on the sea or up to the attic. Hang the lamp by its yellow strap and let its warm, bright light guide you through the dark.

It’s getting dark. Three SAMMANLÄNKAD LED solar-powered lights hang on clotheslines under a tree near a hammock.

          A collaboration of shared beliefs

Most energy resources are limited, expensive and environmentally exhausting. And then there is the sun. Based on a shared belief that thoughtful design can make a difference, IKEA joined forces with Little Sun to develop SAMMANLÄNKAD with the wish to make solar energy available to more people.

At the juncture of design and science

The SAMMANLÄNKAD LED solar-powered table lamp is an advanced technological solution with an eye-catching design. Let the cordless and versatile lamp illuminate your desk, hang it to spread light on your balcony, detach it to read books under the covers or use it as an emergency power bank.

It’s only a small nudge that we can deliver, and many nudges are needed. But we are excited to see how much solar energy we can spread in the world.
