Work anywhere with these hallway desk ideas
In Sara’s busy home, all the bedrooms are spoken for – so she's created a family office space in the hallway. ‘It’s open for anyone to use, doesn’t take up valuable sleeping space, and means you’re still part of the family action while you’re working,’ she says. Read Sara's story in full and start planning your own hallway workspace.

Frame your inspiration
A mood board can help you keep your ideas, deadlines or to-do list in focus. “Instead of a pin board I like to use the plain wall,” says Sara. “I took a vintage frame from my grandmother, removed the glass and backing board, and painted the frame black to match the rest of the color scheme.”
“
By introducing a desk, some practical organization and a few cozy details, we were able to turn an unused part of the hallway into a creative work space the whole family can use.”
