Add an eclectic display
Family keepsakes, artwork and messages add soul to a simple workspace – making it easy for everyone to contribute. “As this space is also used as a hallway, people use the wire storage to keep their favorite accessories to hand,” says Sara.
Frame your inspiration
A mood board can help you keep your ideas, deadlines or to-do list in focus. “Instead of a pin board I like to use the plain wall,” says Sara. “I took a vintage frame from my grandmother, removed the glass and backing board, and painted the frame black to match the rest of the color scheme.”
By introducing a desk, some practical organization and a few cozy details, we were able to turn an unused part of the hallway into a creative work space the whole family can use.”
