Freja's fantastic birthday party

01 May 2016

Meet Freja, she’s about to turn 8 and we’re going to help test out her birthday party decorations. Not just any decorations though, these ones are dreamed up by Freja, complete with wild treats, dress-ups and a king-of-the-jungle entrance.

Freja’s a big fan of jungle animals so we started off her dream party by making a wild hallway entrance to get everyone in a party mood. All it takes is a shower rod and curtain (this one can be adjusted to your hallway size) and a little creativity with the artwork.

Of course a jungle theme is so much better when there’s animal costumes to choose from. With a hallway dress-up rack Freja’s friends can pick which dress-up they like the best.

Cake time is always the best time! A big part of Freja’s dream party was having her friends over to share in a big birthday cake. We had to junglify the setting with paper decorations on the lamps and tables though (come see how to make them here).

“I loved jumping through the lion’s head! I wish I could do that every day.”

Freja’s friends can also take home some jungle memories with a wild wall posing spot (it’s also a fun family snap with mum, Manuela). This one’s just made with cardboard and a lick of paint. Happy birthday Freja!
