Create a heartwarming gift for the host

Surprise your hardworking and gracious host with these thoughtful gifts that go beyond the ordinary flower bouquet. The best part? These presents can be reused, so the memories will last a long time!

1. Give a delicious, homemade breadbox

Save your host time and energy with this ready-to-serve gift. Make your own butter using herbs, spices, nuts and berries… or buy it already made (we won’t tell anyone). Add your favourite bread. These classic glass jars can be used again for bath salts or candy.

2. Create a decorative herb holder

Spoil the foodie host who is always busy spoiling others. Gather fresh herbs and hang them with twine on a hook rack. Wrap the gift in any extra meter fabric you have. The hooks can even be reused for other kitchen tools.

3. Make a fun, decorative activity ‘calendar’

When the host is also a good friend, give them the gift of time. Write down a planned activity (movie in March!). Clip it up on a frame as a decorative display, and add pics to make it personal. Use the frame to hang keys or notes!

We love to see our customers get creative with our products. Go for it! But please note that altering or modifying IKEA products so they can no longer be re-sold or used for their original purpose, means the IKEA commercial guarantees and your right to return the products will be lost.
