When it comes to light bulbs, there’s more choice than ever before. Our standard, wireless and LED bulb collections come in all shapes and sizes, and include the G9 LED bulbs, GU10 LED bulbs, and E27 LED bulbs. So, no matter how you want to light your home, we’re full of bright ideas.
How energy efficient is LED lighting?
LED bulbs use up to 85% less energy than standard bulbs and last up to 20 times longer. And they stay relatively cool when they’re turned on, even when left for long periods of time, so they’re safer, too.
What does LED stand for?
LED stands for light-emitting diode – a type of conductor that only allows current to run in one direction. A bit like a tap in your kitchen, which when turned on only allows water to run out, but not back in.
Can you put an LED bulb into a regular light fitting?
You can use LED bulbs in a regular light fitting, as long as the wattage is lower or equal to that of the fixtures.
What is strip lighting?
LED strip lighting is a row of LEDs in a flexible plastic housing – a great way to add soft lighting to your rooms. Our 5m LEDBERG strips feature an adhesive backing, so they can be attached to walls, under bookshelves, or even to the rear of your TV. And they can be cut to size (although make sure they’re unplugged before you do this), making it easier to achieve the perfect look for your home.
