Waffles with jam, cream and chocolate sauce

A child hides behind 2 VÅFFLOR waffles and laughs.
For the rainy days, the sunny days and even the "I don't want to get out of bed days," these indulgent waffles are the perfect pick-me-up. Swap the whipped cream for ice cream for delicious summer sundae waffles.


1 pack of VÅFFLOR waffles (12 pieces)

200 ml whipped cream (40%)

Half a jar of SYLT BLÅBÄR blueberry jam

Half a jar of SYLT JORDGUBB strawberry jam

1 tbsp powdered sugar

Handful of crushed hazelnuts (optional)

Chocolate sauce

100 ml cream

80 g dark chocolate

Step by step

Chocolate sauce
  1. Bring the cream to the boil, then remove it from the heat.
  2. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and add it to the hot cream. Stir until all the chocolate is melted.
  1. Whip the cream.
  2. Heat the waffles according to the package.
  3. Top each waffle with jam, whipped cream (or ice cream) and nuts (optional). Dust with sugar.
  4. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
