Disappointed - hard to operate, not very effectiveAnonymous reviewerI ordered this salad spinner online and so wasn't able to assess its size and quality before purchasing. It is smaller and lower quality than I expected. The lid snaps on firmly, which means it is hard to get it open again. And you have to open it up frequently because it is small, and so can't hold very much salad.
The inner basket has to be placed *just so* or it will quickly lock in place and refuse to spin. The handle on top only rotates in a small circle, which means you can't get the inner basket to spin very fast. This means my lettuce gets less wet, but never dry.
I spend most of my time struggling to open the lid and struggling to get the basket to actually rotate. I'll be replacing this with a better quality product soon.
