Reviews

Great looking shelfAnonymous reviewerI purchased these as an addition to my upper cabinets in my kitchen. They look really good and arnt too difficult to assemble. The only negative point would be the price, I do think they are abit expensive at £70 a unit. 5
perfect storageAnonymous reviewerI realize it is a kitchen unit but it is a perfect fit in the utility room for laundry items.5
Used to fill awkward gap next to upper cabinetsAnonymous reviewerWe used this, along with the drawer inserts, to fill a gap between a LERHYTTAN upper wall cabinet and the wall. It was easy to fit, and sits neatly next to the wall-mount cabinet, meaning it's flush top and bottom and looks custom and meant to be there. We used two shelves, so that we could add the matching boxes, and then we left the top (third) shelf out and store cookbooks there in the open section. It's sturdy and strong and is working well one year on.5
Exactly rightAnonymous reviewerJust what we needed to fit in. Very small space to use as bedside table and Colour matched everything exactly5
Very useful extra storageAnonymous reviewerFitted as part of my kitchen and used for items such as tea towels, tea lights,candles.5
Pretty and usefulAnonymous reviewerPretty and useful, but expensive5
Very Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerFirst day I got to use it the support front piece of wood broken! Then the drawers are falling apart. Won't buy it again as I find that wood /chipboard are flimsy these day with Ikea products. I have been a fan of IKEA for over 20years but quality are poor these day.1

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
