Product details

When this self-watering insert is placed into the soil of any plant pot, the water will penetrate the soil through the terracotta insert.

The terracotta insert makes the water penetrate more slowly than other solutions, so the water will last for longer.

The water container can also be replaced by a 1 litre PET bottle to allow for more water volume when you’re away on vacation.

The water container is made from semi-transparent plastic so you can see the water level and add water when needed.

The water container has a lid on the top for easy refilling, while also keeping insects away.

Reviews

Great quality Anonymous reviewerI purchased these for both inside and outside plants. 5
Great idea Anonymous reviewerI got four small and four large to see how I get on. So far so good. My hallway becomes especially warm and the two large plants in there are particularly happy and as the weather here gets warmer these will be very useful. When putting together I found it easier to put the ferrule on the spout first rather than the earthenware piece.5
Excellent Anonymous reviewerExcellent feeder, really easy to put together works very well and seamlessly blends into the background 5
This works for moss poles!Anonymous reviewerFinally something that keeps moss poles hydrated reliably! Trialled both large and small versions in 1m poles that had dried out, and both poles steadily rehydrated within a week, no flooding. The larger cup made the pole a bit top-heavy when full but didn't need refilling, the smaller is more stable but needed refilling after 4 days (but the poles were very dry at the start). A note about assembling: the plastic bung sits better if the it is inserted in the cup before screwing in the dripper. If you follow the instructions to put the bung on the dripper then screw this into the cup, the bung tends to creep down over the dripper too much so the seal is not so firm (and it must be, to hold the water and the weight of the filled cup). 5
Bigger than I thoughtAnonymous reviewerI bought online so judged size by photos; It’s actually a good size, I’ve a few large houseplants so will come in very useful. Like the lid, stops muck and dust getting in. Also like the earthenware soak away. Very handy little gadget,4
