Great product, perfect for myVerified ReviewerGreat product, perfect for my garden room5
Awful response to ikeaVerified ReviewerIn response to the ikea comment about buying underlay I did buy underlay but not enough so I purchased more and a better quality. The rug was still moving so I purchased rug tape. This kept the edge of the now mistaken rug in place but it stretched and tucked up where people walked on it. The rug was put on a laminate floor with underlay and rug tape. Today we had enough and put it in the bin.1
AwfulVerified ReviewerThe rug has lots of knots showing, tried poking them through but keep poking back. To be honest on the floor it looks like a sack. It has become misshapen from walking on. Had it a few months and it looks fit for the bin. Waste of money. Bought the large size although a heavy coffee table on top of it still manages to ruck up. Rubbish unless you like the look of a misshapen sack on your floor. Worst thing I’ve bought from IKEA1
Great for the price!Verified ReviewerAs others have mentioned it comes folded and therefore has creases that will take a little while to settle. Maybe is should be sent rolled. Despite this, it is a decent rug for the price and looks great in the space I wanted it for. It looks hard wearing, but only time will tell on that front. I've used underlay with it to stop any slippage, keep it in place and to help extend the lifetime of the rug. Unless you are willing to spend a lot more for a floor covering, I would definitely recommend.5
Not badVerified ReviewerThis would be a great rug but it came folded so hard to get creases out so it doesn't lay flat on the floor properly3
Gorgeous rugVerified ReviewerWhen it first arrived it was folded so I quickly realised that it’s soft and easy to lay. I adore this rug. Not too soft on bare feet but I already knew that before buying, but it’s gorgeous and there’s an initial jute smell but it goes away after a day5

If you need something to go the extra mile, look no further than the LOHALS rug, flatwoven.
Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertiliser, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
