Now it's really easy for anyone to use smart lighting. This driver allows you to connect your integrated lighting from IKEA – turn on, turn off and dim so you always have the right light and mood at home.

Product details

When you add DIRIGERA hub and IKEA Home smart app, you can create several groups of light sources and control them in different ways.

Use the wireless dimmer to dim, turn on/off up to 10 light sources - all will behave in the same way.

Helps lower your electric bill because dimming the lights saves energy.

You can connect up to 5 units to the driver, as long as the total wattage does not exceed 30W.

A flashing light indicates when the maximum wattage for the LED driver is exceeded.

Can't modify as the internals are all encapsulated (which makes sense for a bathroom) - may have to find a different driver3
Low durability Anonymous reviewerAt the beginning this unit was surprisingly good, pairing easily and working well even with a Hue hub. That setup lasted for about 4 months only. This driver lost pairing and stopped responded to the hub. I managed to pair it again once, but now it no longer pairs with anything. I reset the unit, tried to pair it with a new Ikea hub, but the driver does not appear as available to any hub. I’m not confident on its build quality.1
Ok but lacks technical infoAnonymous reviewerI have tried and failed to find out if these drivers will work if connected to a traditional dimmer switch (trailing edge or leading edge). I’m not interested in remote controls or “smart” home nonsense. All I’d like to be able to do is have the bathroom cabinet lights be controllable from my bathroom’s main single MK dimmer switch, which controls the six down-lighters currently in the bathroom. I can’t find this information anywhere. At the moment I have to vary the lightning on the cabinet using the little remote control, independently of the main lighting. The remote feels cheap and requires a battery, it all seems a little overkill for my liking. Apart from this, it all seems to work together nicely with the cabinet, etc. 4
Great once you figure all detailsAnonymous reviewerVery hard to navigate which driver works with which controls and lamps.. I bought this with the Silvergland bathroom lights and a styrbar remote control (and we don't have the Dirigera hub). These work well together. It takes a little fidling to pair the remote to the driver, but once done, it dims and controls them very well. Would help a lot if IKEA would share better descriptions on compatibility5
