The thick curtains darken the room and provide privacy by preventing people outside from seeing into the room.

The eyelet heading allows you to hang the curtains directly on a curtain rod.

Effective at keeping out both draughts in the winter and heat in the summer.

The curtains are sold in pairs. The sizes stated refer to each single curtain. For the total width, double the width of a single curtain.

You can use SY iron-on hemming strip to shorten the curtains without sewing.

16 gliders and hooks are usually recommended for each curtain with a width of 145 cm. You can increase or decrease the number depending on whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats.

DisappointedAnonymous reviewerI was disappointed by these curtains on several counts. 1.They are NOT room darkening. I have had to line them with blackout lining. I like the colour so wanted to keep then. 2.On first wash they shrank over the stated 4% 3.. When washed again I used a 30° wash and they shrank in length again and are now 3 inches from the floor so I need to replace them. Initially I washed at 40° as stated on tge label.2

Not room darkeningAnonymous reviewerThere is nothing worse than excitedly hanging a new pair of room darkening curtains and being ready for a lay in on the weekend than hanging said curtains and being woken up the moment the sun rises because your bedroom is flooded with sunlight despite the curtains being fully drawn. There are plenty of other curtains from Ikea which are not labelled as “room darkening” which is exactly why i didn’t choose to buy them. I chose these curtains because they’re labelled as room darkening. But they’re not. So don’t purchase these if you’re hoping for a darkened room. I’d also like to add that Ikea were extremely unhelpful when I raised a complaint about these curtains. If the curtains aren’t room darkening (which they’re definitely not) don’t label them as room darkening. Just label them as curtains like the rest of the ones that let light through so that people don’t buy them under false pretences and waste their money.1
