Adequate Product Anonymous reviewerI bought this unit along with several others to update my pre-existing kitchen. Again, the instructions were a pain to decipher. Normally, we have no trouble putting together Ikea furniture but this was very fiddly to do. I bought this particular unit because I have a lot of spices and herbs etc. and wanted to have them tidy and organised. While it works ok for this, I have found that it is slightly narrow width wise for UK sized spice jars, so you can't really have two side-by-side. This means I can't fit in as many as I would have liked. However, the unit works fine and is adequate for the required purpose.

Almost perfect, easily fixedAnonymous reviewerThis is a great unit, and the finish is better than others I have had. However the cost saving element is a considerable quality compromise, but you can easily sort it out yourself.
This comes with two runners and tells you to have one runner for the upper shelf, and one on the opposite side lower shelf, this proved to be a nightmare. We spent some time adjusting the draw to get it sitting parallel with our other units. After a day of use it was sitting at angle. We adjust again as best we could (running out of adjustment) but again after a few uses it’s at an angle. By the end of the week the angles is very pronounced. We used the spare parts ordering system to get another pair of runners, fitted them to this unit so it has two runners for each shelf. Adjust it to parallel with adjacent units and the problem was solved, it stayed parallel. Several weeks on, it is still parallel. I can only assume it’s a cost measure supplying just 2 runners, however, we believe it really needs 4
Silly sloped sidesAnonymous reviewerFor use as a narrow spice or bottle rack it han't been designed well as much needed space is taken up with slopey drawer edges and all the bottles fall over. .. And then have to take it part in order to clean the spillage...
Very handy for spicesAnonymous reviewerWe've had this in place in our IKEA kitchen (Metod kitchen and Axstad drawer fronts) for over a year now, and this is one of our favourite features. It was not the easiest to put together (I've built a lot of flatpack and am confident with DIY and this is the trickiest one we've ever done, but it did work! Just follow all the instructions and take your time figuring out what you need to do before embarking o each step - especially with the jig for installing the door). It's worth it. We have ours next to the oven/hob full of spices. We love it.

Makes an unuseable cupboard into a real assetAnonymous reviewer20cm is not a lot so I hummed and ha'ed about getting this, but so glad I did. The instructions are excellent - as ever with IKEA - but do not wing it with this one! :-) It slides in and out v v easily and holds an amazing amount - and all really easy to get at rather than grovelling about at the back of a v v narrow cupboard.

HelpfulAnonymous reviewerIncredibly helpful for next to your dishwasher or your hob - ours holds the salt, rinse aid, tablets, kitchen paper and on the top level our oils/vinegars, but would also be handy for chopping boards etc - the items that are a nightmare to store or clutter up a worktop live in here. It can be a bit fiddly to get onto the rails when installing but once on it's a dream.
