Reviews

Perfect next to my bedVerified ReviewerThis is such a good size for a small flat, it looks just right. When putting together I separated the head of the plastic nail from the bottom part. Put the bottom part in first then the pin head. I didn’t do this to begin with but managed to separate the two parts with my nail. All went together easily from there. 5
So tackyVerified ReviewerDoesn’t fasten together properly really tacky made. Better off putting your £15 straight in bin. You get less than what you pay for with this!1
Appalling!Verified ReviewerIncorrect plugs included - had to order spare parts. Then correctly assembled but middle drawer keeps falling out!!! Appalling that so much accurate feedback has been given below, and this item is still being sold!1
This is RubbishVerified ReviewerWorst thing I've ever bought from anyone. Why IKEA are selling this is anyone's guess. Their quality has plummeted over the years. The frame went together, so I'll keep it to put a plant on. The rest of it is going in the bin and NO I am not going through the hassle of returning it. 1
It’s not bad for the price Verified ReviewerHad the same difficulties with the plugs but figured out if you separate the top off the plug first it is a lot easier to push them in. Do the 4 prongs one first then the middle bit. Still a bit flimsy but will be ok to hold a few bits. 4
Easy enough to put togetherVerified ReviewerEasy enough to put together apart from the annoying little plastic pegs that hold everything together.3
Ridiculous plastic plugsVerified ReviewerI'm really disappointed with this product. Whilst the frame holds together well enough, and I can manage the anxiety of having to bend the metal to create the drawer bases, the plastic plugs are not fit for the purposes of fixing the ends of the drawers in place, both in terms of assembly and utility. I appreciate this is a budget piece of furniture, but it isn't acceptable. I will be returning both the units I bought.2
Poorly madeVerified ReviewerGot this as a Christmas present for my daughter. The plastic clips that come with it are useless. Spent nearly an hour trying to get them in. It lasted 10 minutes before falling apart. Have rebuilt it but I know it won’t last. What I don’t understand is now I have read other reviews this is a common problem. Not up to IKEA usual standards. 1
Small and useful. Value forVerified ReviewerSmall and useful. Value for money.5
White Plastic Connectors are poorVerified ReviewerGreat for extra storage in very small areas. Easy enough to put together but the white plastic connectors are rubbish and were a nightmare to use. As an alternative I found some small nuts and bolts to do the job.3
Missing partsVerified ReviewerYou can order spares through customer service menu on the website and the museing white scree connectors have code: 122568 or 148903 (no idea why it has 2 codes). Also, the assembly instructions on the website are out of date and don't show the correct part numbers for these connectors. But the insttuctions in the box state there should be 24 identical white connectors.1
Missing white 'screws'Verified ReviewerThe unit itself is fine for light use and looks smart. But Ive bought 2 of these, months apart and both have had missing white screw connector things - there should be only one type of white connector (longer with disc). I dread to imagine how many people are getting frustrated that the stubby white connectors don't work because they're not meant to be included and so there's only enough of the correct ones yo make up 2 or the 3 drawers. Im disappointed ikea are knowingly selling these without the right parts to build them! All they need to do is sellotape a bag of extra connectors to each box rather than wait for every customer to ask for spares....1
Good ventilated storage.Verified ReviewerNeat, cheap, stops veg going off.5
I love this cabinet... IVerified ReviewerI love this cabinet... I bought it to go under my sewing table and it fitted perfectly... I did find the little screws hard to use so I had to ask a younger person to do it for me...5
The white plastic pegs forVerified ReviewerThe white plastic pegs for the drawers are difficult to insert and just collapse so cannot secure the joins properly.3
Flimsy plastic fixingsVerified ReviewerA nice little unit to look at but a nightmare to put together. The plastic fixings for the drawers kept breaking and so the drawers kept falling to bits. Almost gave up at one point but after 2 hours it was finally finished. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this product as the metal is really flimsy and easily bends out of shape. Drawers won't hold much at all.1
Easy when you know how!Verified ReviewerBuilt the frame, no problem. Really struggled putting the drawers together with the plastic clips. Took a while....but finally discovered that they came apart. Put the prongs through the hole first and then put the pin through which secured it. Be careful though......they have a habit of popping out. But once you get the hang of it, it's fairly straight forward.4
i t should be esay for fixing on but.......Verified Reviewerit is not easy for fix it on with the little white screws for drawers so far i stil leave it because cannot fix on,so.......sadly, could i have more screw for drawer?1
Plastic drawer pins don't workVerified ReviewerThe draw fixings supplied are hugely frustrating, we had to improvise with our own nuts and bolts.2
Excellent storageVerified ReviewerExcellent storage5

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
