Superb Sideboard - Just Two Points Worth MentioningAnonymous reviewerWe bought two of these sideboards to place side by side in our dining room and they look stunning. The design is excellent with a solid frame, nice strong bottoms in the drawers, adjustable shelves and soft-closing mechanisms on the drawers and doors.
That said, there are two points.
Firstly, this is quite complex piece of furniture to build with probably over 200 parts comprising panels, screws, hinges, gizmos and thingamajigs. An electric screwdriver is a must.
Secondly, the sides of the doors furthest from the hinges have contraptions with pins that project into the top and bottom channels to guide the bi-folding action when the doors are opened and closed. Even when the doors were aligned, I found that the pins occasionally came out of the channels. Perhaps they need to be a bit longer or did I do something wrong? I found an effective workaround by extending the pins beyond their normal click-locate position. The doors glide smoothly now.

Lovely but need space to assembleAnonymous reviewerAt first it was a bit daunting to assemble due to the volume of pieces but instructions were great so no problems. Make sure you have a good quality screwdriver for the door hinges! Overall the sideboard is gorgeous and I’m super happy with it.

IDINAS SIDEBOARDAnonymous reviewerThis is a great unit, we made it look built in within an alcove, made a new top piece to fit over the existing top so it would fit the full length of the alcove and added side pieces and skirting along the bottom in front of the legs then colour matched all the added additonal pieces with Valspa colour match paint for that seamless built-in look, finished by adding some shelving above in the alcove and couldn't be happier, this is a great piece of furniture and now the focal point of our living room.

Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerWe always bought IKEA cabinets and beds without any trouble in assembling them until now. The push and slide locking system is useless, damages the mdf too. We had to buy extra brackets to secure the unit because it was very unstable.
