The IKEA bean counters have reduced the quality. Now just ok was quite good. I have painted mine and put on nicer knobs. The drawers and runners are the same. 2

Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI bought 2 of the Hemnes bathroom cabinets. They look great but the plumbing is not easy. My plumber had to cut off the back support bar to connect the pipes to the mains. Then the pipes were leaking water as seals are not good.2

I will have to make a few mods but the advantage is that we can still use the top drawer because it will still open as there is lots of clearance with the toilet in situ.5

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
