Not as good as it looks and costs.Verified ReviewerI have been using this as a sofa mostly and occasionally as sofabed for almost 2 years now.
The main seating is soft, spring-y and low and I can feel the 2 metal bars under it.
The back is completely different; it is foam, non-spring-y, firm and much more supportive (when laid down to sleep).
Once you open it as a bed, one side is soft and low, while the other is firm.
They are basically 2 single beds next to each other, not one double sleeping area.
When 2 people sleep, one sinks down into the seating side, while the other stays higher on the back side.
If one person sleeps on it, they either stay on the low side or the firm side; it is impossible to sleep in the middle of the sleeping area, as they are completely different in support and firmness.
It is like trying to sleep on the edge of a stair.
I had Ikea come over to check the sofabed after 6-months' use, but the diagnosis was that the sofa is fine and it is how it is made.
There is no section drawing of the sofabed.2
Amazing sofaVerified ReviewerGood quality price and comfortable5

Poor quality of mattressVerified ReviewerAfter one month the mattress has hole in the middle with normal, domestic use,we didn't jump on it, and we are not overweight but now it's impossible to sit or lie on it because it's not comfortable at all. I'm very disappointed because I have some IKEA furniture but never seen so poor quality for almost £700.1
Cushions dissolve after 3 years of usingVerified ReviewerAt first was very good, but after a couple years cushion there you seat became very thin and you start feel metal construction under the cushion then you seat or lay on it. Ikea support said they can’t change it or make a refund because a guarantee is only 1 year despite it said 10 years on a site.

Very poor qualityVerified ReviewerBought this in December 2022 to provide extra accommodation for family over the Christmas period. It is used daily for watching TV in the evenings, but after less than a month the seat is already visibly sagging, and guests commented that the two halves of the bed were uneven. I didn't expect world-beating quality for this price, but this is very disappointing and a waste of money.1
Not very strongVerified ReviewerOne of the wooden panels underneath has completely snapped in half. It's only chip board which is probably not the best material for a product that's designed to open/close frequently. It also became quite shabby looking very quickly. We've had it for four years now and it looks like we've had it for about a decade.3

ExcellentVerified ReviewerVery comfortable!5
Love this sofa bedVerified ReviewerPut together myself after watching you tube vid. I got a corner one of these as well for different room and this three seater was much easier to put together. Storage space is a massive bonus and it’s really least to convert to bed. Sturdy thing when converted to a bed - no wobbly pull it legs!
Might be a bit firm for some but I love it . Looks really smart5
Comfortable.Verified ReviewerThis is so comfortable. The bed pulls out easily and the storage area underneath holds quite a lot of bedding so that's a big bonus if your short of space. The bed itself is quite big, feels bigger than a double bed but I haven't measured it so I'm not sure if that's just my perception the settee alone is the size of a single bed. Easy to assemble but better if there's two of you. It is heavy so I won't be moving it anytime soon. What I also like is because of the way it has been designed to turn into a bed you don't have to have it very far from the wall to allow for the back to come down into a bed.5
Very pleased with this SofabedVerified ReviewerBought as an occasional bed for guests, this Sofabed is exactly what we have been looking for, full length, with no uncomfortable folding mattress or springy metal framework. It looks great, is easy to pull out and put back and is very comfortable to sleep on, (tested 7 nights looking after a new puppy downstairs) but I do like a firm mattress. The cushions from the sofa go neatly underneath when it is out.
It took me about and hour to put together, including undoing and putting out for recycling all the Cardboard and other packaging. It's about 180kg as a combined pack, but could load from the trolley to the Van on my own, but you will need help to get it into the House. It is big so probably not something you would want to be thinking about moving around once assembled.5
Great sizeVerified ReviewerThe two boxes are two man lift but assembly can be done single handed.
So far there are no issues.5
Love itVerified ReviewerThis sofa is great. It's so hard to find a decent sofa bed which is comfortable as a sofa and a bed and thus one is both!5
Great value comfy sofa bedVerified ReviewerGreat value sofa bad, sturdy confy and well built. You need a strong arm to pull out the sofa. Good bedding storage too.4
Loving itVerified ReviewerVery heavy but a nice sofa. Can comfortably fit people in and is an amazing bed. The only thing is material got a bit fatigued5
Excellent productVerified ReviewerGreat but difficult to assemble.5
Extremely comfortableVerified ReviewerVery comfortable both as a sofa and bed. Unusually large sleeping area for a sofa bed; furthermore, firm base allows for a good night's sleep. Very easy to switch between sofa and bed positions.5
great sofa bedVerified Reviewerwe bought this sofa bed for our caravan awning for extra bed space. its a great sofa and a great bed5
Poor QualityVerified ReviewerWhilst living in Switzerland I had purchased this sofa bed from the Ikea Shop Rothenburg. I was more than happy with design, comfort and quality. On moving back to the UK i purschased the same sofa. However, this one compared to the one purchased in Switzerland is of an appalling quality. Barely six months old and its already sagging badly in the middle. The foam seating has a huge indent. It looks like a sofa that has been in heavy use, when in actual fact its only been in real use for four months. I will contact Ikea and hopefully it will be either exchanged or a refund. I am not a happy customer.1
