Was very simple to put together following the online instructions. Not a million pieces like some furniture/beds! Extremely sturdy/heavy once fully built so shouldn’t move easily! Will last years as it adjusts to three different lengths. Looks really nice and modern too, no sharp corners, edges are all rounded. Bed is perfect height from the floor for him to climb in and out safely. Good value for money. Highly recommend.
Nice bed but...Anonymous reviewerWe've had this bed a while now, and it's nice, and the lip round the outside means she can't fall out, however... the side bits at the head, she bashes her head off them all the time when moving around in her sleep! If these little wings had a padded piece on them, I would give the bed a much higher rating. Sometimes she's really hurt herself.
Unsafe for young kidsAnonymous reviewerI purchased this bed for my three year old son and while the bed was easy to assemble and looks ascetically pleasing it’s not safe.
My son woke up through the night and lay back down however banged his eye off the side panel that curves out which has resulted in a damaged nerve behind his eye, with ongoing treatment with future implications.
While it’s not Ikea’s fault, I just don’t deem the bed safe for young children.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
