Not the quality that we expectedVerified ReviewerWe bought our mattress on January 23 it was really good at the begin, really comfy and really good night sleep, unfortunately month after month we noticed that the mattress is loosing it initially firmness, wasn’t expecting these to happen that soon, we are quite disappointed since it is one of the top mattress Ikea is selling2

Big holeVerified ReviewerIn the beginning this mattress was great and firm. However, after owning this mattress for 6 months we started to notice a hole where my husband sleeps. The foam doesn’t go back like it’s supposed to and he now has to lie in the exact same position each night to be comfortable . We wanted to flip it but this doesn’t work with this mattress. Very disappointing since this is one of the more expensive mattresses of ikea and of course it only happens after the 90 days of trial..2
Beware of dents.Verified ReviewerAfter 6-7 months of owning the mattress there’s a massive dent in the middle. Very unhappy as this is the most expensive mattress and was really great for the first few months. I’ll be contacting IKEA for my money back.1

Avoid - far too hot, worthless returns policyVerified ReviewerBought two of these Single Anneland Mattresses (Firm & Medium), comfortable enough at the start until you get far too hot due to the Foam & cheap Polyester at the top. Returns small print useless, no cash refund of the price difference, just a Voucher. It is the most expensive IKEA Mattress, don't want to be forced to spend £450 in Ikea if traded down. All others also have the foam / cheap Polyester on top, so may also be too hot. We have completely lost faith in IKEA mattresses, so would just like a full refund, like top stores do. Lesson is to read the small print, avoid foam / polyester mattresses, the bri-nylon shirt of today, and go elsewhere for a mattress. Caveat Emptor.1

Too hot, feel disappointed as I feel mislead by online testVerified ReviewerAnneland came up on the online test to see which mattress is suitable for you. I selected I like a cool sleeping environment, my body weight, side sleeper etc. It came up with this and Vatnestrom and Vagastranda. I took the Anneland as it felt the most supported and comfy when I tried it in store. I have had it now a month and immediately found it too hot with heat radiating from underneath. I was surprised as I had selected cool environment, so I don’t feel like it was my fault and I was mislead by the online test. I had a sprung mattress before so I guess I was used to that. I was looking for a medium tension mattress as I am light weight person, but I still find this one a bit too firm on the medium firm one. I have an electric blanket and it didn’t suit that making it more hard to lie on, as the memory foam didn’t work with the layer, so I took it off. I do find my shoulders ache a bit in the night and I end up on my front to rest them.

The first couple of nights it felt a bit too firm and my back and hips ached, but now my body has adjusted and the mattress feels perfect!5

DONT BUY!Verified ReviewerThis mattress is so expensive and we were really looking forward to getting a good quality mattress that we had really really saved up for. Originally we bought the firm and took it back for a medium firm because it was just way too hard. And now even with the medium firm it is causing both me and my partner to have back and hip pain and now there is nothing we can do about it now because of their returns policy. We hugely regret buying with IKEA and advise you shop elsewhere for mattresses. Really disappointed and tired!1
