Create a family adventure: camp indoors!

01 August 2018

‘You don’t have to spend lots to be creative and have fun together,’ says stylist Sam Grigg. ‘My daughters and I love using what’s already around to turn an everyday rainy afternoon indoors into something special’

‘I have fond memories of making camps when I was small and building whole new worlds. For a cosy hideout, try taking throws or bed linen and using chairs and sofas to make your tent, then add plants for camouflage and animal toys to bring that outdoorsy feel. A play tunnel makes an excellent hidey-hole too. With some picnic food and camp stories, you’ll have enough to keep everyone going for a whole day.’

‘You could also try turning your sofa into a castle, fort or even a spaceship.  Or use decorated cardboard boxes to create your invention!’
