Still doing our best to be here for you

During this extraordinary period, we know there is growing concern about the impact of COVID-19 on our daily lives. We want to assure you that we are prioritising the health and safety of our customers and co-workers across the UK.

In order to help keep us all safe, we have suspended our in-store kitchen planning, Measuring and Installation services. We appreciate that this will be a cause for frustration for those customers with appointments already booked. So this is to let you know that we’re still here to help, through our online remote planning service. And for those of you with measuring or installation appointments, we will be in touch as quickly as we can (get to you), to discuss your booking.

Online planning appointment

Virtual planning assistance from the comfort of your home

This service is free.

Work one-on-one with an IKEA Kitchen planner via an easy, online meeting programme. Through this screen sharing tool, your planner will plan your new IKEA kitchen in front of your eyes. This appointment can last up to two hours and a further 30-minute follow-up session can be made for minor revisions if needed.

When you are ready, we can place your order and arrange delivery for you.


In-store planning appointment

As a precautionary measure we are unable to offer in-store Kitchen planning appointments.

During this time you can use our free online planning service so that together we can still create your kitchen plan. 

For people with pre-booked kitchen planning appointments, we will be in touch to discuss virtual or remote planning options soon.


Prior to your appointment, you will need to:

  • Measure your space - Please measure your space beforehand to ensure that the plans for your kitchen are as accurate as possible.
  • Our measuring services are temporarily suspended, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • Choose your products – Start browsing our kitchen products now to get a better understanding of what you want. Knowing this before the planning session will make it more productive.
