  • Is there parking when I get there?

All IKEA stores have free parking* which includes Disabled and Parent & Baby parking bays. • Why are items sometimes out of stock?

Every effort is made to maintain the availability of items shown online, but due to popularity and supply issues, some products may not always be available. Generally, IKEA can estimate when a product should be back in stock. You can check the stock availability on the product information page to make sure items are available before you visit.

Like many retailers, we’re experiencing some difficulties with our supply and are therefore experiencing some availability issues. We’re working hard to get products back onto our shelves. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.  For further details click here

  • Do your stores offer home delivery or van hire?

Since most IKEA furniture is flat-packed, you can take your goods home today in your car and enjoy them right away. If you'd prefer, IKEA can arrange delivery at a reasonable rate. Visit the home delivery desk in the Customer Service area after checkouts. We also offer a van rental service through Hertz 24/7. Find out more about the IKEA range of services we can offer.

  • Can you help me with assembling my item?

Looking for instructions? You can find digital copies of assembly instructions below every product listed online in the ‘Assembly & documents tab’; you’ll be able to get the article number and assembly instructions from there. For general help or advice regarding assembly it is best to ask in store, but you can also contact us.

Can you assemble an item for me?

If you would like your furniture to be assembled, we offer a service operated by TaskRabbit* online and in store. You can find out more information here.

Our kitchen departments can also arrange a visit to your home to help design your ideal kitchen.

  • What is Bargain Corner?

Grab a bargain and help the environment!

Maybe there’s a scratch, it could have been a floor model, or someone took it home and decided it wasn’t right for their place and brought it back. It’s perfectly good and doesn’t deserve to be thrown away. IKEA stores worldwide keep millions of kilos of materials from being wasted and help people like you save piles of money.

We are so confident in our Bargain Corner products that we offer the same guarantees on them as new products (except appliances which have a 1-year guarantee). We are unable to reserve items in this area and the stock is updated daily.

  • When is IKEA going to build a store in my Town/City?

IKEA is constantly expanding so we can meet our goal of creating a better everyday life for the many people and reach as many people as possible in a variety of different channels.

  • How do I find a store outside the UK?

To find a store in a different country go to IKEA.com and select the country website you require from the list. Or use our interactive store locator.

  • Are dogs allowed in IKEA stores?

Registered service dogs, such as guide dogs and hearing assistance dogs, are always welcome!

We ask you to leave your furry friends at home, as we are unable to allow them into the store. Unless, of course, they are registered service dogs, such as guide dogs and hearing assistance dogs, or registered emotional support dogs, who are all always welcome!
