  • Wool sheds naturally, so to keep your rug beautiful we recommend that you vacuum it regularly.

    Jute may have a slight smell which is normal as it is a natural material made from plant fibres.

    Jute is a natural fibre that might change colour over time.

    47% jute, 45% wool, 8% cotton

    Care

    Airing and vacuuming will help to eliminate the smell that the rug can have when it is new.

    Avoid placing the rug in damp spaces.

    Do not wash.

    Do not bleach.

    Do not tumble dry.

    Do not iron.

    Do not dryclean.

    Vacuum, shake and rotate the rug regularly.

    Dry spots; remove immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

    Wet spots; do not rub. Absorb with paper towels, damp with cloth and mild detergent.

    Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

  • Use STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip for increased safety and comfort; to be placed under the entire rug.This product has been tested for domestic use.

Designer thoughts

"I love working with the MÄVINN collections since all the creating occurs in collaboration with skilled social businesses. This year's theme is table settings, which sparked the idea of integrating something edible – and figs felt like a perfect choice. The caterpillar acts as a small mascot and becomes different striped patterns in the design. I love how the organic materials harmonise with the bold colours and hope you will appreciate the craftsmanship behind each piece."
