This cover is made of dope-dyed GUNNARED fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned melange effect.

Washable – Removable covers make cleaning easy and keep the chair fresh.

Lovely addition to a stand-up desk especially the Gladhōjden

Nice sturdy chair, good looking and ergonomic. The cushion is comfortable and the swivel feels very controlled. I also like the footrest and the mechanism to move the chair up and down. Very satisfied with the product and I would highly recommend it.

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
