Set the table for Easter

Like most holidays, Easter is all about feasting, family, and spending more time at the table. And that’s reason enough to give your dining area the festive touch it deserves! Explore our spring‑inspired table setting ideas and welcome the celebrations with a mix of colours, natural elements, and layered textures – all without breaking the budget.

Start with what you have

Before rushing into buying anything new, take a look at what you already have at home and decide on a clear direction. White or cream plates, clear glassware, and neutral textiles provide a calm foundation that works with almost any seasonal accent. Limiting your palette to two or three shades – such as butter yellow with sage green or dusty blue with beige – keeps the base balanced while letting decorative details bring in colour and personality.

Dress your table in layers

To really make your Easter table stand out, layer different pieces – stack smaller plates or bowls on larger ones or add a contrasting napkin or tablemat in and under your dinnerware. Potted flowers, candles and other natural decorations also help bring a sense of depth and dimension. For a little extra structure, try playing around with woven placemats.

Bring in natural elements

A few natural yet affordable elements are all you need to make your table feel extra festive this season. Add branches or budding twigs in glass vases, or finish the set with beautiful tulips and hyacinths. For an even more elevated and joyful look, mix in additional details such as oval‑shaped glass ornaments reminiscent of eggs or simple basket arrangements.

Play with textiles

When setting any festive table, you can never go wrong with textiles. A light tablecloth or linen runner instantly brings a celebratory feel, while colourful napkins add a personal touch and a bit more visual interest. If you want to be more playful, you can dress up your Easter napkins with simple touches like strings, branches, flower stems, or even a painted egg. For a fun twist, a patterned kitchen towel works beautifully too.
