It's Swedish Meatball Day!

What’s so Swedish about meatballs?

Meatballs with mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam, and green peas – it is a truly Swedish dish. First mentioned in a cookbook by Kajsa Warg in 1754 and served at IKEA since 1985, meatballs have long been a favourite of Swedes and are part of both everyday meals and special occasion menus. On 23 August, people in Sweden even celebrate Meatball Day. Let's join them and celebrate together!
