Welcome back

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in our IKEA stores. Please remember that security measures and a large number of visitors can lead to longer processing and waiting times. We thank you already now for your patience.

Our opening hours

Our opening hours

Open again

Our IKEA Restaurant, the Bistro, the Swedish Food Market and the Cafébar (currently only in IKEA Vernier) are open again for you. How about a portion of Kötbullar for take away?

Currently still closed

Please note that our children's paradise Småland are currently still closed.

Our co-workers look forward to seeing you, with a smile behind the mask.

All information on shopping safely:

Safety and hygiene measures

Here’s how we can work together to protect ourselves:

We're still living in challenging times. That’s why we’ve prepared extensive safety and hygiene measures to protect you and our co-workers. So there’s no longer anything stopping you from feeling safe and at ease while shopping with us!

Stricter hygiene measures

Stricter hygiene measures

You’ll find disinfectant dispensers and wipes throughout our stores, and our cleaning staff are constantly on the go.

Duty to wear masks

We comply with the federal regulations to combat the pandemic. In our IKEA stores, masks are mandatory without exception - to ensure the most comprehensive protection for our co-workers and customers.

Customers who do not wish to wear a mask - whether with or without a certificate - are not permitted to visit a store where masks are mandatory. We handle the situation in the same way for the many and do not see ourselves as having the necessary expertise to distinguish between a doctor's prescription and a certificate purchased on the Internet.

1.5 metres’ distance

To protect ourselves, we are all keeping at a distance from one another. So that we can stick to the minimum distance of 1.5 metres, you will find markings on the floor in certain areas.

Card or contactless payment

You can protect yourself and others by paying by card or contactless (TWINT) rather than cash whenever possible.

Max. four persons at one table

A maximum of four people who already know each other may sit together per table.
The exception is families with more than two children.

Online shopping at IKEA.ch

Yes. We are still here for you 24 hours a day. At the moment, the following options are available to you:

Parcel delivery service

Good to know:

  • Parcel deliveries have no fixed delivery date
  • As soon as your order reaches our delivery partner DPD, you will be notified about the exact time and date of delivery.
  • It may happen that your Parcel delivery is split into two packages and that these are not delivered simultaneously. Please be patient. The second package will be sent to you as quickly as possible. Thank you.

Standard deliveries by truck

Collection from a store (Click & Collect or IKEA Collect-Box) or an IKEA Pick up Point

Try adding the item you wish to buy to your shopping list. In some cases it is possible to buy the item this way. When you click on the shopping list, it will say “How would you like to receive your order” at the bottom. Enter your postcode. If there is an alternative option for you, it will be displayed here.

If this does not work either, you will unfortunately have to wait until the item becomes available again.

It may happen that some delivery windows are fully booked. If this is the case for you, please select an alternative delivery window.

Since the health of our customers, our co-workers and our suppliers is our top priority, IKEA and its suppliers that carry out orders for IKEA are adhering to the official guidelines laid down by the FOPH. (such as consistent distancing and hygiene routines, more frequent cleaning and the wearing of gloves).

Deliveries by truck
If you prefer that our delivery partners leave the goods in front of the door of the building instead of delivering them into your flat, choose our delivery option "Curbside".

Parcel deliveries
Our service partner DPD will deliver your package to your home directly. There is also the option to grant a signature release authorisation. DPD will send you a link as soon as they have received your package. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to pick up your package from a DPD pick-up shop.

IKEA Collect Box
With this service, you can collect your order without directly coming into contact with any of our co-workers.
