What should I do if products are damaged or missing?

  • If you notice at the time of delivery that a product is missing or is damaged, tell the delivery service employee so that this can be duly noted and IKEA will be contacted.
  • If you only become aware that a product is missing or damaged after delivery, use our contact form to let us know or simply upload photos of the damage, so that Customer Service can gain a better impression of your complaint.

Can I order online and collect my items from the IKEA store?

Yes. With the new Click & Collect service in store, customers can order and pay online, then choose a pick-up day in the store that is most convenient for them.

How will my delivery charges be calculated for an online order?

Can I postpone an agreed delivery date? date?

If you need to postpone your delivery date you can do by yourself through your account in Order History page. If you don't have an account, you can postpone it finding your order here.

If you have a Parcel delivery you are not able to change your delivery date.

Any delivery date change made less than 24 hours prior to delivery may incur an additional charge.

Will my order be brought into my home?

For truck deliveries, our transport service company will bring the goods into your home, to a room of your choice. Parcels are delivered to your front door.

Can I choose the delivery date online?

For truck deliveries, you can indicate your preferred date on the calendar during the order process and choose between three time slots:
Mon – Fri: 7.00 – 11.00 a.m.; 11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.; 3.00 – 7.00 p.m.; Sat: 7.00 – 11.00 a.m.; 11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m
* In the Vernier and Aubonne regions, the time slots are as follows: Mon – Fri: 9.00 a.m. – 12 noon; 12 noon – 4.00 p.m.; 4.00 – 8.00 p.m.; Sat: 8.00 a.m. – 12 noon; 12 noon – 4.00 p.m.

You will be contacted again by the transport firm prior to delivery. For parcel deliveries, our system automatically suggests the earliest available date. You will receive an electronic confirmation from DPD with the definitive delivery date; however, you can change this if you will not be at home on the day of delivery.

Can I have products from one order delivered to different addresses?

No, all items in a single order must be sent to the same delivery address. If you wish to send items to several addresses, you will have to place a separate order for each address.

Can I have my items delivered to a different delivery address?

Yes, you can specify a different delivery address for your order. To do this, click on "deliver to a different address" during the order process. It is also possible to change the billing address. We deliver throughout Switzerland and in Liechtenstein. We do not deliver to other countries. Please contact an IKEA store in the country of your choice at www.ikea.com.

How will the items be delivered?

We deliver smaller packages weighing up to 10 kg for CHF 7.95/ CHF 17.95 10kg and above by parcel service. All other orders are delivered by truck, with prices starting from CHF 59.00 (depending on value of goods). Your delivery charges and delivery type will be automatically calculated by our system.
