Versatile inexpensive with limitations.Herringbone design studioInstalled hardware to Accomodate a patio door set of custom drapery. Easy to install. Adjust and customize. Wish the hardware was sold differently. I joined 2 tracks together and required an extra bracket connector. The track provides 2 and I needed 5... Seems I need to buy an extra track to get the bracket connector. Instead of the bracket coming with the proper connector. Otherwise I used the glides for a ripple fold application and worked perfectly. I needed to stack all drapery to one side for the door to work properly. The seam of the 2 tracks was tough to get smooth. I would of prefered If the track was in a 72 or larger. But made it work. Inexpensive. Very effective. Compared to other high end hardware well worth it and very versatile. Only finish is white. Worked in this application. May not in others. Enjoyed talking with the staff To find a solution for my challenge. Cheers. Jamie (designer)4
simple and smoothevaluciWorks as it is designed to do. From a design perspective, the screw holes on the brackets are a little too low to be able to mount this right into the corner of the ceiling wall where one could easily tap into the ceiling joist; aligning the screw hole with the joist means the track necessarily abuts the ceiling making it impossible to secure the track to the brackets. Also, the brackets are truly designed with a maximum weight which was on the limit for my curtains using the triple track. Its really important to tap into a stud or else watch the entire contraption cascade to the floor! I solved the problem by building a simple pelmet box out of wood and screwing the track into that in multiple places before mounting to the wall.5
Easy to installJustAGuyThe VIDGA Two-track bracket set is easy to install, but you must make sure that you can either screw it into a wooden stud or use a suitable drywall anchor like a toggle bolt or similar as the weight of the drapes can exert a lot of force on the bracket, as will the forces applied when opening and closing the drapes.5
