Vappeby outdoor speakerDebbieI absolutely love the Vappbey speaker. It produces pretty good sound for outdoors. It is very sturdy and I don’t worry about it blowing over. The shape definitely helps him keeping it waterproof, not that I’ve left it out in the rain. The light is a bonus as I do live in the country and sometimes we have power outages so I know I’ll have a battery operated light at all times. I’m contemplating on getting a second one for extra sound. I’m just not sure if I can play the two at the same time? I take it out in the garden with me when I’m gardening and then for a few hours I haven’t run out of a charge. Seems to be a pretty good battery. I do tend to play my music at a louder volume. I did watch a few YouTube videos before making the decision to purchase the speaker. The only thing I wish is if IKEA had made it so I could link it up with my all Sonos speakers I have purchased from IKEA. I do love IKEA products.

Sound quality is fantastic - the best I’ve ever heard from a speaker in this price range by far. To my surprise it’s quickly become my main listening device because of its portability, long battery life, and truly impressive sound quality. The fact that it also doubles as a pleasant ambient light is the cherry on top. Nice job, Ikea!
