Product details

A light warm, easy-care duvet in soft, dobby woven cotton and a hollow fibre filling from recycled sources.

The soft, light fibers keep their volume and insulation ability, allowing your body to breathe and maintain an even temperature throughout the night.

Panel stitched with intermediate walls to keep the filling light and fluffy, and to keep it in place.

A good choice if you often feel warm while sleeping.

The duvet is machine-washable at 60°C, a temperature that kills dust mites.

The duvet is sold in a cotton drawstring bag so you can roll it up and pack it away when not in use. You can also use the bag as a laundry tote or for storing other personal belongings.

CrunchyAnonymousThis duvet is really stiff and crunchy. I followed the care guide, then tried other methods to soften it. If you don't mind it stiff, it's not a problem, but be warned for those that want a more forgiving and quieter duvet fabric.3
Very crunchy sounding but good weightAnonymous reviewerI wanted a lighter weight duvet because the one I had been using for years was too warm for spring and fall (in Canada even) and too heavy so it would often slide off the bed. This one feels like a perfect weight for me, much lighter and easier to move and doesn't fall off the bed due to its own weight. It's warm once you are under it for a few minutes. In winter I will just put a wool blanket on top if needed. However it the shell fabric is extremely crinkly like paper and loudly rustles with even slight movement. I have not washed it yet so I'm hoping a hot water wash will soften it up. I don't mind the noise that much but I think some people would. It's well made and comfortable and the shell is definitely cotton and I like the feel of the gel like inner filling. They should just use a less stiff cotton for the shell.4

King size duvet AileenI am not sure about the warmth side of this duvet as we returned it the next day unopened. I had just bought a king size duvet cover from another store and the dimensions were a lot bigger than the duvet. If you buy a duvet from IKEA you also have to buy the duvet cover from IKEA because the sizing is not standard which to me is poor marketing.3

Material

How to care for your polyester duvet

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester duvet and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester duvets can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
