This reversible mattress is made of 6 cm thick foam and is just as soft and smooth on both sides. Simple, yet still safe and secure for your baby – and with a cover that you can machine wash.

Good to know

We recommend IKEA fitted sheets for cribs. They are dimensioned for our mattresses, which means the mattress retains its secure shape and size.

Wash the cover inside out with the zipper closed.

Safety and compliance

For safety reasons, it is important that there are no gaps between the mattress and the edges of the crib.The zipper is child-safe since we took away the tab on the zipper. To open and close, insert a paper clip through the loop. Make sure you always remove the paper clip afterwards.

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.
