Ratings and reviews

Not good.NathanFirst off... I should have figured a two story dish rack wouldn't be great. You have dishes dripping on other dishes. The rack is large, and doesn't include any sort of dish mat. Unless you have some kind of fancy sink that has a built in dish draining area that means you need to buy a mat or deal with water draining all over your counter. For a dish mat this size it's over 20 dollars guaranteed. Add that to the price of this and WHY? The stand up dish part doesn't allow a lot of different plate or bowl designs to stand up. The stamped steel on the bottom is flat, meaning that water tension prevents 90% of the standing water to drain. They should have use a punch with a bit of a counter sink on it to make water run towards the holes. The bottom is basically useless unless you want your dishes sitting in water. Hard no from me. Just have to find the time to return this thing.1
Interesting LindaA nice upgrade. It looks clean and better than a clunky plastic one… I’m interested to see if it rusts. Based on other reviews I combined this dish rack with a drying mat to absorb some of the water that drips off from the cups and plates. Also, I think it’s totally unnecessary to actually install the rod to the bottom of it because it actually makes the dish rack unstable lol 4
Poor air circulation on lower shelfIsabelIt retains a lot of water in the lower rack. The holes are very small and there is not a lot air circulation.1
disappointed - no drip tray & unstable - will return itPriyankaam so disappointed. there is no drip tray. it doesnt sit well on the counter, its unstable. I will be returning it. 1
Saves space KarrieLove it5
No glass holders EduardoIt lacks forks and glass holders. I think it’s ok for a single person.3
SoggyAnonymous reviewerThere is no drip tray available for this size dish drainer. The cloth ones are too big, the plastic too small by a couple of millimeters. 3
CheapAnonymous reviewerCheap accessory. The metal was bended when delivered - making impossible to assemble it.1
terrible quality controlAmberthe holes meant for the nails are jagged and too small for any nails to even go through, much less the actual rack pieces. it would be fine if i had the tools to enlarge the holes, but as a college student.. of course i don't. what a waste1

The perfect dish rack?Anne-MarieI think so! I love its compact design, yet it holds my baking sheets and glasses and bows of different sizes! Way better than the fish racks I’ve had in the past!5
Great Lil dragonTammyIt works for what we need it for I just wish it can with a drain mat for under it as it leaks everywhere because of the holes. Needs a mat for Underneath it that's all but good product4

Don’t buy itBehzadThe dishes don’t stand on it properly.1
Stainless Steel DishrackElle-MaiIt's a great little dishrack for a single person or a couple. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars b/c it would great if the top rack folded so you could use just the base for larger items. A larger base that's double the size would be even better for larger items or more dishes.4

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
