Great sinkStefaniePerfect width and depth, there is sufficient counter space for toothbrushes and soap dish. I love how little space the flat pipes require! Easy to install.5
Perfect sinkRose1980This sink is amazing! I love that IKEA made a double sink for a smaller space. It's perfect for our bathroom. It's a game-changer for our tiny ensuite. We can brush our teeth at the same time now!5
Great plumbing design except for the last stepVerified BuyerI bought this sink together with the Hemnes vanity and it was an overall great experience. Very easy to assemble and sophisticated space-saving design, I was impressed. Until I got to the last step where I was supposed to gently push out a plastic part from inside the pipe that was already installed under the sink. Yeah well it wasn't that easy and ii T certainly couldn't be pushed out gently. That step should have been way before in the process when it's not all tucked away in the back of the vanity and you can actually still reach it and hold it in place to push against it. It did not bulge under a gentle push with a flat screwdriver as suggested by the manual. In the end I had to fully cut it out using a Swiss Army knife, not at all a gentle push. Except for that major flaw in the assembly manual, it's a great product, very easy to install and a well thought out design.3

Material

What are ceramics?

For thousands of years, humans have used ceramic objects for cooking and serving, and it’s easy to see why. Ceramics are heat-resistant and durable, and don’t react chemically when in contact with various foods. The base material is different types of clay that are formed into objects and oven-burned. At IKEA, we mostly use ceramics for plant pots, porcelain and sinks – and since it can be glazed to any colour and shine, the possibilities of styles and looks are endless.
