Looks great and the purpose, but use sparingly for access under cabinetry. RonUsed this to vent under cabinet in laundry room to help prevent water pipes from freezing in Canadian winter (supply and drain pipes are close to the outside wall. Paired this with backless oven cabinet for maximum ventilation). Gave it 4 stars because the support of the toe kick is weak during installation and removable. 4
Solid, thick, metal.BrianMy difficultly came with the connection between the metal part and the plastic end pieces. I wanted to see how will it fit on a piece of toe kick ( originally installed 5 years ago). It went on nice and snuggly. My difficult came when I wanted to disconnect the grill from the toe kick. The plastic end pulled off the metal. This isn't the biggest deal, just a slight redesign would keep the pieces together. Overall it looks great and the metal is solid, not flimsy aluminum.4
