Inner lining material breaks downJean-MarcWe purchased four of these pillow protectors, and the inner lining began to break down on all of them within a couple of washes. We would find pieces of the lining material all over our condo whenever we washed them. The issue became so bad that we had to throw them all away. It's too bad, as we really liked the protectors otherwise. They're soft, and the stitching and zippers held up great for the two years that we had them. 1

Don't really do much to protect your pillowsKarinWe have bought many of these pillow protectors over the years. They really don't do much of anything to protect pillows. They are thicker than a normal pillowcase, but they allow sweat, drool, etc to go right through to the pillow itself. The zippers are also very unreliable - the last bunch I bought when I got new pillows had two with zippers that were broken during the first zip.2
