All new materials have their own particular smell, which gradually disappears. Airing and vacuuming the rug will help to eliminate the smell.

You will need 1 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (5'5"x7'9") for this rug. Trim if necessary.

The rug is machine-woven.

To get the edge of your rug to lie flat without curling up, fold the edge in the opposite direction and place a heavy object on top for 2 days.

Do not tumble dry.

Do not iron.

Do not dry clean.

Vacuum and rotate the rug regularly.

Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

Do not rub wet spots. Absorb moisture with paper towels, and clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

Looked nice at first, but absolutely awful to maintainTylerAt first, we loved the look of this rug. After owning it for only about 2 months, it has been an absolute nightmare. DO NOT get this rug if you have kids, pets, or plan to use in a high traffic area. It will fall apart and detach thousands of little fibers. It's extremely difficult to clean and stains WAY too easily. This rug is more of a "show piece" and should not be used in any space that gets any traffic what so ever.1

Natural and lovely choiceGeorgiaWe got it for our bedroom. This rug doesn't have a soft cosy surface, but it is lovely and the subtle variation in the fibres is pleasant. The weave is tight and solid. Feels more like we are getting foot therapy, which we don't mind. Vacuums well, looks great, and for us the fact that it is a natural fibre, and thus compostable, is a plus! Trying not to buy plastic fibres any more.5

Lies flat, no curley or uneven edges, looks beutiful, no large knots in it, great color, feels nice, smells grassy. What is jute?

Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertilizer, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
