Great sofaMelissa_s1I’ve had this sofa for about a month now and I’m really enjoying it. I like the deep seats and the chaise. It’s quite comfortable, the back cushions are a little bit stiff but I think they’ll wear in over time. I put it together by myself so it’s definitely possible to do on your own but takes time and you’ll accumulate a few bumps and bruises along the way. I haven’t washed the covers yet but like that I have the ability to wash all of the fabric pieces, my cover is Hillared Beige and it spot cleans very well. For the price, it ticked all of the boxes for me.4
Uncomfortable couchShreysI got this couch in 2016 and have gone througj changing covers twice due to pilling issues in a household witjout pets and a single child. The couch has a dent on the seat cushions around the area where one would naturally sit. Additionally this has caused me and my husband back and neck pain since as you sit you feel you are being sucked in backwards as it is a very uncomfortable position. I have been trying to call ikea and even after a 40 min hold trying to get in touch with an associate and this on multiple occassions I haven't reacjed them.1
KtabFirm with a little give just the way I like it so comfortable4

Good qualityEtravassos1I bought this product last month so I like it4
Bad sofaIrfan143A lot of good reviews made my buy this sofa in February 2020. But I am not happy with the purchase due to a couple of reasons: a. Sofa cover is not good at all. We didnt use it much but i see a lot of pills (when a fabric become tangled together in a tiny knot or ball) on it. I do not find this a quality product. b. The chaise has started losing its shape and today I had to reverse its cushion so that it goes back to its original appearance. c. I do not find it comfortable enough to sit for long. I wish to return this or exchange it with something nicer and comfortable, but not sure if this would attract any fee. I am an IKEA products fan for the last many years. I just placed another order for a vareity of stuff.1
Durable, Adaptable, and Great Valuerytel21I must have bought this about 5 or 6 years ago in a brown-ish cover for about the same price it is selling for now. I put it in the rec-room where my kids and dogs hung out. Well, I still have it and it's nearly like new still even though now the space is a rental suite! Since the kids moved out I changed the colors in there. How wonderful it was that all I had to do was buy a new and trendy color of covers from IKEA to upgrade the room even though there isn't anything wrong with the originals which (by the way) are washable. Yes, washable which I do even with the new covers in-between tenants. The arms are still solid. The back cushion of the chaise is starting to soften but I guess that's what happens after this amount of time and the cushion of the chaise (the most used seat) is softening in the spot where a butt typically is but it's not visible to the naked eye. I have rotated that cushion now and again and made sure that I keep it velcroed in place to keep the end from being sat on and rounding with inappropriate wear. Since purchasing, I've bought the ottoman. It has great storage and allows for two of us to lay out as if there are two chaise loungers. I highly recommend this sofa. One caution, the height of the seating is somewhat low. I have had elderly and over-weight individuals comment that it was difficult for them to get up from this sofa. I am going to buy another set of Kivik Loveseats for the sitting room off the kitchen. It's just too economical, adaptable, and durable not to!4
Most comfortable couch I hadKerfuffleWe owned this couch for a few years now and it is still wonderfully comfortable. It has been our sleeping couch, gaming couch, you name it - sitting or lying on it for any period of time is a pleasure.5
deceptively comfortable in storeairpotatoI bought this two years ago, and I'm regretting it now. I tried it out in the store and liked the relative firmness of the cushions. I knew they are supposed to soften over time, but i didn't realize to what extent they would turn to formless mush. I find it impossible to sit in these without constantly shifting my position. I was really happy with the couch for the first year or so. I always felt well supported on it, whether i was sitting up right, slouching, lying down, or otherwise contorting myself. But then, what had seemed like a sweet score (like many of the ikea purchases I'm still very happy with) turned sour. So beware of anybody singing the praises of this couch, they may still be in that honeymoon phase unaware of the trap they've fallen into. I'm going to have to give it away, because frankly I'd feel bad about accepting money in exchange for this thing. And now, I have to shop for a new couch again.1
Don"t Know Why The Rating Was So Lowsean1988The rating is crazily low on this and it is so off the mark. I am loving this sofa, everything about it is 5/5 pretty much!5
Awesome SofaKellyrae72We've had this sofa for a few days now and are in love with it. It's big enough for two tall people and a dog to stretch out and relax. I love how firm it is so no sinking feeling.5
Design of top end sofa at fraction of priceJustinoThe sofa is equal to one costing 5k at a well known downtown toronto retailer. And that one i had to wait 4-5 weeks to receive. This isnt a 5k sofa, but its certainly good value at the price point its at, does not break the bank and will give you 5 years of use pretty easily if not more.5
Memory foam is rock hardRach013We have a Kivik from 2011 and loved it so when we needed a second couch, we selected a Kivik again. The new memory foam cushions are AWFUL. We actually stopped using our family room because the couch was so uncomfortable (even our guests made comments about how firm it was). We would default to our old Kivik in the basement. We finally found a solution and turned the cushions upside down, but the covers look off now because they are tailored to curve around the memory foam portion (which is now at the bottom). We tried everything to soften the memory foam before flipping, to no avail. IKEA should abandon this memory foam, or try a new type, because it is horrible hard and uncomfortable to sit on.2
Perfect size, easy to assembleebtown44We were a little unsure when buying a couch from IKEA but we absolutely love our decision. The couch was easy to assemble and is extremely comfortable, would recommend this couch to everyone.5
Love the memory foam!Anonymous reviewerI have the love seat and chaise, as well as sofa and chaise in my living room. They're *super* comfortable, stylish and a little casual. I frequently have people comment 'this is Ikea???' And it's super handy that you can remove the covers to wash them. (They say dry-clean only, but I've put them through on a gentle cycle with cold, and hung to dry without any problems)5
