Disappointment. Very beautiful design, but completely impractical tabletop coating.IrinaI really love IKEA products for design, practicality, ease of transportation, and assembly. My search always starts with IKEA, and only if I can't find suitable furniture there do I consider going to another store. I also often chose IKEA products for interior projects and this is my first unsatisfactory experience. The HUVUDSPELARE table became my love at first sight - it has a beautiful minimalist design and a great tabletop size. However, literally on the third day of use, some sticky tape ended up on the table, and while removing it, pieces of paint came off with the tape. It seems to me that this is a very unreliable solution if a piece of tape can easily deform the table. Furthermore, even when the tabletop was taken out of the packaging, it already had a scratch on it, but we didn't pay much attention to it at the time. In the end, I couldn’t find a better solution than buying additional protective desk pads (SUSIG).3

Great all around deskLucasI was looking for a gaming desk that wouldn’t break the bank found this one and I’m honestly very impressed. The desk looks really big in person, you have quite a lot of space to put your things and what not. Didn’t take long to assemble though I’d recommend assembling with another person to make it easier. The only flaw that I found with the desk is that it shakes quite a lot even with the slightest touch. Please be aware when buying! Overall really solid desk with the only gripe being the constant shaking.4

Looked around for a desk, gaming is too expensive and other desk were too small for what I was looking for, went to ikea twice to look at 2 different ones and landed on this one, perfect size, easy to assemble.
