Office chairBabbbsssWhen no one else has office chairs IKEA this was affordable and comfortable5
Great computer chair!!SukiiOI purchased two of this chair for my kids (both in there teens) and I was worried at first due to some of the reviews I’ve read but to be honest I was looking into buy another computer chair but for some reason at that time all of IKEA locations were out of computer chairs lol and finally when they had this in stock I bought it and I’m glad I did!! Both my kids actually like this chair ...It was super easy putting it together, it’s comfortable, they like how it leans back and yes they could sit on this for hours and no complaints. Over all it’s a good chair and would recommend it.4
This is a really unpleasant chair to usesssssteveAssembly is quick and simple, but it's all downhill from there. For size reference, I'm 6 feet tall and around 180 lb; this chair is extremely uncomfortable to sit in for a long time since the cushioning on the seat is ineffective and the seat itself just isn't big enough. When sitting in my regular typing position, the seat leaves a large part under my thighs unsupported, and with no adjustment to slide the seat forward it means I'm constantly fidgeting in the chair trying to find a comfortable position. What's good: the mesh backing is nice and the back/lumbar support (which does not adjust) works fine for me. Unfortunately, this is a pretty bad chair. I could see it being OK for children aged up to the early teens but this is going to be a terrible choice for most adults. I can see it being OK if people are only going to be sitting in this for 10-15 minute stretches but if you want to get work done at home, spend the money on something really good. Learn from my mistake.1
Flintan Office ChairWorking from home 2020Very comfy. Great price. Great value.5
KarpExellent and very confortable5
Poor lumbar supportNP494The adjustable height is great but the fabric and foam piece intended to provide lumbar support is the worst. Perhaps this chair would be fine if you only sat on it for very short amounts of time, but not for more than an hour and certainly not as an office chair to work full days.2
Looks good, but makes me lean/slip forwardAman AlamThe foam seems to be either thin, or misaligned towards the front, so the chair keeps making me leaned forward, giving me knee pain if I sit on it for too long. Not sure if I should try to fix it somethow or return it. The feels also seem to be too stiff for movement without the weight, but once you sit on it, they sometimes have trouble making the chair stay in it's place2
A strong professional chair for constant use.traveller1976A strong professional chair for constant use. I am amazed at the 10 year warranty. The full steel frame is really sturdy for a heavy person like me. I really love the cushion and breathable back rest. For the price it is quite a good value. I work from home and sitting all day in this chair is a pleasure. Note I also bought and attached the strong steel armrests.5
Ergonomic nightmareJohnFSI bought this chair 3 weeks back after moving and having to ditch furniture because of Uhaul screwing up. It seemed like the same model I had to abandon, but boy, is it not at all! In the upright position, the seat tilt is WAY too far forward rendering it completely unusable in upright. Pull the handle to lean back, and the back leans WAY too far back, and yes, the seat tilt is still leaning forward. There simply is no comfortable way to sit in this chair. Your back will begin begging you to sit on a wooden stool instead after an hour. I cannot stress this enough, this chair is an ergonomic nightmare. Written, now literally, sitting on a wooden stool.1
jessdolphin4Bien contente de mon achat! Telle que souhaitée!5
Love it!Depp813I love this chair so much! I bought one for my sewing room, and bought 2 more the next year for my professional longarm quilting studio. Just bought another one for my granddaughter.5
Basic office chairfreedudeIt's a relatively basic Office chair. ... The seat could be a little more padded ... but most of all, I had to put some spacers under the front seat to frame bolts because it tilted forward feeling like you'd slide off the seat.3
an OK chair, but better alternatives available.Shouldve read the reviewBought the chair since I was satisfied with other IKEA chairs I purchased previously priced around 50~60$. Decided to up the game by purchasing this one. It was OK when I tried it in the showroom. However, after I brought it home and finished building it, just after 3 days of use, the lever which is supposed to lock the backrest broke. It no longer locks the backrest which makes it pretty uncomfortable. I wanted to see if I can return the product, but the receipt must have gotten mixed up with garbage as I couldn't find it...I contacted the return & service desk, but they told me there isn't anything they can do since I do not have the receipt. Yea, it is my fault so I kept using the chair. More and more I spend time with the chair, I seriously feel like throwing the chair out. 1. Since backrest cannot be locked, I have to always somehow use my strength to sit up unless I am laying back to the furthest backrest can go. 2. The chair is simply not that comfortable because of how cushion is angled outwards to the front. It gives me a feeling that I am going to fall off the chair. I would definitely recommend RENBERGET or MILLBERGET as those were the IKEA office chairs I used before and were much better than this one.1
Great ChairNot lost in SpaceBought this to replace my previous chair. It is much better. The other one also came from IKEA.4
Perfect for the kidsMama54My grandson wanted this for his room. It takes up very little room and he’s enjoying it.5
Great Desk Chairaboi123Fits our desk perfectly!!5
Waste of moneyFooledWe bought this chair for our daughter about a year and a half ago as she moved out for university. It took little time for the wheels to get stuck and stop working but she was set up on carpet flooring so the impact was limited. She just got used to push her chair dragging on that surface. The chair made its way back to our home where we have hardwood flooring. Same result, the wheels remained stuck and my husband tried in vain a number of means to loosen them up or lubricate them. Being that they do not roll, the wheels are now damaging our floor. I went to customer service today with 2 of the wheels to show how stuck they were. The service was good in that they were replaced, although I have to now bring the other 3 wheels for replacing them too. What prompted the review is the explanation I was given i.e. they are built that way for “safety” reasons. I was told that there needs to be weight on the chair for the wheels to roll. The range of weights using that chair has gone from 130 to 200 lbs with the same results. How much weight is needed to get those useless wheels to roll? I was disappointed, now am angry that IKEA has its employees provide such a ridiculous explanation for a poor, flawed, cheap, wheel design. I was also told that it would likely not work on carpet. There was no mention of that limitation in the specs. This chair was not cheap, it is now useless as I was provided the same stiff wheels for replacement and told the result will be the same. it is the way they are built! Would NOT recommend to anyone.1
Easy to assemble but little to no back supportchairuserI bought this chair about a month ago and have used it for 2 full 8 hour work days. The fixed position of the chair is fairly uncomfortable and the lower back support, seen in the picture, does little to nothing. It has been a very uncomfortable chair so far. I've had some pretty terrible lower back pain, as a result of using this chair.2
